Fair Use Policy for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Services – Unlimited Plan
1. Purpose
This Fair Use Policy (“Policy”) ensures equitable and sustainable use of Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited ‘s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Services for users subscribed to the Unlimited Plan within the designated estate/property. It promotes responsible use of charging facilities installed at individual private parking spaces and is subject to our Terms and Conditions.
2. Scope
This Policy applies exclusively to users of the Unlimited Plan for EV charging services at the designated estate/property, where charging stations are installed at individual parking spaces allocated to users for private use. It governs the use of charging facilities by registered users for one registered vehicle per account.
3. Fair Use Guidelines
3.1 Access and Availability
· One Registered Vehicle: The Unlimited Plan is intended for use with one registered electric vehicle per user account, linked to the user’s designated private parking space. Users are requested to comply to ensure responsible use.
· Private Parking Spaces: Charging stations are installed at individual parking spaces assigned to specific users for private use. Access is restricted to the registered user of each parking space and sharing or unauthorized use of another user’s charging station is prohibited.
3.2 Fair Usage Levels
To manage energy resources and ensure sustainable use, the following usage limits apply to the Unlimited Plan:
· Standard Charging: Full charging capacity is available up to a monthly consumption of 400kWh per registered vehicle.
· Reduced Charging at 400kWh: Upon reaching 400kWh in a billing month, the maximum charging current will be reduced to 16A.
· Further Reduction at 600kWh: Upon reaching 600kWh in a billing month, the maximum charging current will be further reduced to 8A. These reductions reset at the start of each billing month.
3.3 Equipment and Safety
· Proper Use: Users must operate charging equipment as instructed, ensuring cables and connectors are handled carefully to avoid damage.
· No Tampering: Modifying, tampering with, or misusing charging equipment is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties or legal action.
· Reporting Issues: Users must report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately via the TT EV Charging app or customer service hotline.
3.4 Conduct
· Respectful Behavior: Users must treat charging facilities, other residents, and Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited ‘s staff respectfully. Abusive or disruptive behavior may lead to suspension of access to the Unlimited Plan.
· No Commercial Use: Charging stations are for personal use only under the Unlimited Plan, unless explicitly authorized for commercial purposes (e.g., fleet operators with prior agreement).
4. Compliance and Enforcement
- Monitoring: Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited reserves the right to monitor usage to ensure compliance with this Policy, including tracking energy consumption and charging behavior at individual parking spaces.
- Violations: Non-compliance, such as using multiple vehicles under a single Unlimited Plan account, unauthorized sharing of charging stations, or exceeding fair usage levels, may result in warnings, fines, temporary suspension, or termination of the Unlimited Plan, at Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited’s discretion.
- Disputes: In case of any disputes, Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited reserves the right to make the final decision.
5. Sustainability Commitment
Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited is committed to promoting sustainable EV use. Users are encouraged to charge responsibly, adhere to fair usage levels, and support our efforts to maintain an efficient and green charging network.
6. Amendments
Shun Shing Engineering Technology (HK) Company Limited may update this Policy periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via email, the TT EV Charging app, or our website.
