Terms and Conditions

Payment and Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Payments: All payments are final and non-refundable. By making a payment, customers acknowledge and agree to abide by all Terms and Conditions outlined herein.
  • Additional Charges: Customers are liable for any additional fees or charges resulting from changes/add on to services or goods on or after the initial agreement. For instance, relocation of the installed TrustsTech EV charger, rescheduling of the electric device inspection and password resetting. A detailed cost estimate for changes will be provided prior to implementation, subject to customer confirmation.

 

Inspection Process

  • Inspections must be conducted by our authorized technicians to validate warranty coverage.
  • Customers must schedule the inspection within the 90-day period by contacting our service team. Failure to schedule within the 90-day period timeframe will result in additional fee and altered warranty start date. 

 

Warranty Terms – Warranty Commencement:

  • The warranty period begins on the date of the successful electric device inspection, which will be scheduled and completed by us with the HKE/CLP within 90 days from the installation date. If the inspection is not completed within 90 days, the warranty period will start from the installation date.
  • If customers choose to schedule the inspection on a specific date of their preference, an additional fee will apply, depending on the requested date.
  • If our service team confirms that an inspection is unnecessary (e.g., the premises or carpark have already undergone such process), the warranty period will begin on the installation date.

 

Warranty Terms – Warranty Exclusions 

The warranty does not cover: 

  • Unauthorized Repairs: Any repairs or maintenance performed other than our company’s authorized personnel.
  • External Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, fire, flood, collision, theft, vandalism, or natural disasters.
  • Misuse or Overuse: Damage caused by improper use, operation beyond the device’s intended purpose, exceeding specified limits, or password resetting service upon the customer’s request (available for an additional charge).
  • Third-Party Installation or Inspection: The warranty is void if the installation or inspection is performed by contractors or technicians not authorized by our company. If the Work Completion Certificate (WR1) was not issued by our company, the warranty will be voided too. 

 

General Provisions

  • Compliance with Instructions: Customers must adhere to the provided installation, operation, and maintenance guidelines to maintain warranty validity.
  • Landlord approval: If the tenant of the subject premises/carpark wishes to install the TrustsTech EV charger, the proof of approval shall be prepared by the tenant, signed by the Landlord and submit to us prior the arrangement of the installation. We exclude from all responsibility in such matter and the tenant must warrant such approval is valid and genuine. The tenant will be solely responsible if the approval is found to be invalid.
  • Transferability: The warranty is non-transferable and applies only on the subject TrustsTech EV charger.
  • Liability Limitation: Except as required by applicable law, our company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or service, for example:
    – Indirect Damages: Loss of profits or business opportunities if the product fails.
    – Incidental Damages: Costs like transportation or temporary replacements needed due to a product issue.
    – Consequential Damages: Losses like missed deadlines or additional expenses caused by the product’s failure.
    – Dispute Resolution: In case of any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right of final decision unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
